Subaru seem goes slow in Cambodia


Motor Image (Cambodia) Ltd brought Subaru cars to Cambodia since about 2 years ago but Subaru still seem not get success in Cambodia market yet. Motor Image (Cambodia) launched many events to promote their vehicles such as Drive Test Show in Koh Pich several months ago and invited expert lady drivers from Singapore and auto road show at Sidney Super Store as well. Motor Image (Cambodia) sold Subaru less than 10 units per year while Toyota, Ford, Hyundai, Nissan and Mitsubishi can be sold from 200 up to 500 units of each brand per years in Cambodia. Subaru seem very expensive for customers in Cambodia and its exterior design seem not very attractive for Cambodia’s market. Exterior design is very important for Cambodia’s market then they will consider about brand name, interior design, luxury, safety while Subaru’s main concept is safety and comfortable of driving.
