Banking industry is boom in Cambodia recent years and MFIs are growing in all Cambodia's provinces. The major MFIs are Amrit, Hattha Kaksekar, Prasac, Kredit... which have branches in 24 provinces.
According to The Phnom Penh Post, Hattha Kaksekar Limited had invested about $2 millions for operating ATM machines by end of this year. HLK received about $32 millions from customers' deposit and is the first Micro Finance Institute in Cambodia which will operate 13 ATM machines in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampong Cham by end of this year and will operate 30 machines around Cambodia in next year.
