Why dial up is gone?

Do you know what is dial up? Dial up is a kind of internet connection technology via phone line. It's a very old technology and very bad to use compare with new technology at the moment. Dial up needs a desk phone line and can't share to a network and its maximum speed is 56Kbps only. When it is connecting to internet the phone line is busy as well and can't make or receive calls. 

Dial up users will be charged for double, it means that when users access to internet for one hour and your phone line made a call for one hour too. 

So now you know about dial up and no wonder why we don't use it now.
