Regional Security Meetings

Cambodia will host regional security meetings next week among ASEAN countries and eight dialogue partners.

Cambodia, chair of ASEAN will organize the ASEAN Defense Senior Officials' Meeting from April 24-25 and ASEAN Defense Senior Officials-Plus Meeting on April 26 in Siem Reap. The purpose of meeting is to exchange views on regional security issues and related issues.

General Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Cambodia will give the opening remarks at the ADSOM- Plus meeting and the meeting will be chaired by General Neang Phat, Secretary of State of Ministry of National Defense.

The meeting will includes the 10 ASEAN member states plus China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, India, New Zealand, Russia and the United States.
