There are two taxi meter companies in Phnom Penh and both have more than one hundred vehicles totally. One operates their business with Chinese made cars (BYD) in white color and another one operates their business with Korean made cars (KIA) in yellow color. However, those taxis often park at somewhere to wait for their clients' call rather than to go around to look for clients. They do like this, due to the demand and other situations. Because of this, they can save fuel and offer the clients with lower rate. So please don't wait for a taxi but pick your phone and make a call to book for one is a better way.
