Cambodia plans US$ 3 billions for new town in Phnom Penh

Oversea Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC) said on Friday 27, May that the company has received approval in priciple from the Prime Minister to develop a new small city (sub-city) in Chroy Changva peninsula. The project will cover the area of 387 hectares in Sangkat Preak Leap, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh. It will takes from 10 to 15 years to complete with the estimated investment of US$3 billions. This is the 5th sub-city project in Phnom Penh. The other 4 are on developing; Camko City, Grand Phnom Penh, Koh Pich (Diamond) Island and Beoung Kak.
